Dancing Unicorn is a registered imprint of Purple Unicorn Media, and the childrens' book division. It is now being demised, with any future publications going out under the main Purple Unicorn Media imprint. The imprint focused on books for children aged 0 to young teenagers.

Children's Fiction Story
Due to the sad death of the author, and the decision to demise the imprint, Uncle Rollo's Railway has been unpublished and is now out of print. We retain this listing in memory of Mark Carter and the beautiful book we were proud to publish for him.
Rowland Bates buys an old railway station, now converted into a modern house. He discovers that the old track still runs beneath his land and starts to excavate it. Soon he comes upon an abandoned guards van, and a group of local children who start to call him Uncle Rollo. With their help, he sets out on a scheme to revive a stretch of the railway line...
Children's Fantasy Adventure Story
This tale begins with a very old book about an enchanted Hidden Valley. Cara and Dorian discover a way into it. They realise they are needed to help all who live there by taking a magic potion to their ailing Prince Rana. Journeying to his castle the two children encounter many wonderful characters, while exploring the magnificent valley itself. However, there are some inhabitants within the Valley who would rather have the magic potion for their own darker means, but the two children are determined to save the Prince.
Children's Fantasy Adventure Book
In a beautiful faraway land of metallic insects and valve oil lives a small flute, no more than a piccolo, named Isabelle. One night, while sleeping at home in the large instrument city known as Instrumentropolis, Isabelle hears a strange noise - the sound of construction vehicles rumbling over the city clearing it for a road. One of the workers kidnaps Arthur the bugle, one of Isabelle's best friends. It is up to Isabelle to save her best friend and rescue her beloved city from the terrible construction vehicles that have been obliviously destroying her precious world under their wheels.
Teenage Fantasy Poetry
The poems are quirky and humorous and run the gamut of science fiction, fantasy, and horror, focusing on cryptozoology, fearsome critters, and monsters around the planet.. The performance pieces draw on rock, funk, blues, alt country, jazz, reggae, etc. and spoof one-off goofy tunes from the sixties like 'Flying Purple People Eater,' and 'Monster Mash' A piece from the first book in the series is written to the tune of 'Heartbreak Hotel'.
Children's Picture Book
Girl robot Noofie leaves her planet of Bleep Blop, where she is mocked all the time for being too small. Swooshing across space in her ship she finds our little blue-green world and sets down in Echo City...where she finds she is too tall. But when Nightbat comes to befriend Noofie he teaches her the most important lesson of all.
Illustrator/creator Joe Swarctz and writer Ralph Greco, Jr. present another of their Echo City "Jr." line, published here in partnership with Dancing Unicorn as an all-colour large-size children's book.

Due to the demise of the imprint, the author took the decision to unpublish Aqua and Uni and to take back the rights to publish it themselves. We wish Bella all the best and thank her, and Sylvie, for allowing us to publish this excellent fun book.
